This site, which is fairly easy to use (!), shows you the latest available statistics for the type of births in your local units, i.e. what proportion of women who enter this unit end up with a caesarean section.......if the figure is around 25% that means that you have a 1 in 4 chance of a section in this unit......Also check out the instrumental delivery rate.......with the greater majority of instrumental deliveries you will also have an episiotomy (cut to the perineum).
